karen wilkie - owner operator
Karen grew up in rural Missouri. Her college major was Agriculture business, in Wyoming. As a young adult, she raised quarter horses, taught clinics on horse management and certified riding instructors for the Girl Scouts of America. She partnered in a cow/calf operation in Eastern Wyoming for over 14 years. Genetics, nutrition and animal husbandry became big factors in the outcome of the annual calf crop. In 1995 she formed WLD AG SOLUTIONS. Cattle and Alfalfa hay were two areas of expertise. She began to educate herself about hemp in 2015 after a move to Colorado. She realized it would return as a crop and wanted to be as knowledgeable as possible. Karen understands agriculture. Her experience and education will be useful to producers and marketing professionals in building lasting business relationships. In her free time, she can be found snow skiing, mountain biking, hiking and camping. Her passion is assisting adaptive athletes in their pursuit of fun and freedom. She has worked with Ski For Light as a volunteer guide for blind and visually impaired skiers. Also, Karen volunteers with the National Sports Center for the disabled as a volunteer instructor for children and adults with downs syndrome, ADHD, autism and visual impairments. Shotski and Frog, two mixed breed dogs, have adopted Karen.
robert wilson - crop consultant
Robert grew up in Michigan. Traveled to Alaska after high school and worked there for 4 years, before returning to the lower 48 for his college education. He received his BS from CU Denver in Engineering. After college he went to work for Boeing in Washington State as an engineer until moving to Colorado and purchasing a piece of farm ground. Robert owned and operated an organic peach farm on the Western Slope of Colorado for 20 years and has been farming hemp on the Western Slope since 2017. Robert is very much a man of the earth who, is often found backpacking with camera in hand or rolling on two wheels through nature.
Luke gaddy - marketing/sales consultant
Luke is originally from Oklahoma but has spent the majority of his time traveling this beautiful country of ours. Luke was a livestock broker for 4 years before going to Full Sail University where he received his BA in Music Business and Marketing as well as a BA in Recording arts. in 2012 Luke became the Production Manager for a large scale concert venue in the Black Hills of South Dakota, running shows for acts such as Willie Nelson, Stone Temple Pilots and Joan Jett. If you cant reach him in the winter, he’s probably ripping turns on the mountain. If its the Summer he’s probably kicking up dust on the trails.
